As writers, Scott Moore and I (McConnaughay) are always in-search of new, innovative and approachable ways to interact with our readers and make certain they know they're never forgotten. Our Newsletter and Blogs strive for up-to-date and consistent information about all our latest projects (whether it be collaborative efforts like The Canes series, or solo projects like The Wardens and Katalene respectively), the latest conventions we're attending (next month sees us in Perryville, Missouri, for instance), and other ways of engaging and interacting with audiences in a real, personal manner.
Mashers Club is the latest step in attaining our goals.
Let's preface by saying this - all of our novels will remain on Amazon for Kindle and Paperback, nothing changes.
However, Mashers Club is another avenue to read Mishmashers books and is a service with value that will only increase in our further expansion.
For a $5 a month subscription fee, members of Masher Club will receive access to regularly updated content.
On launch, my full-length novel Blind Salvation will be made available, as will the first installments of The Adventures of Vulpecula and The Life and Crimes of Detective Barker (as in, The Canes Files). Not only that, but I will be adding the first chapter of my unfinished novel Spade (chapters will be added periodically and the full-length final-draft will arrive on Mashers Club months prior to its Amazon release).
The novels will be available here on Mishmashers.com, formatted in a way that strives for comfort and leisure (and will always be looking to evolve and improve). The side-bar will provide navigation between chapters or scenes, and the text will be embedded on a cream-colored background, so much easier on the eyes for longer reading sessions.
Our intention is not necessarily to create a Netflix for Books, as it might appear. Mishmashers is a small-company with only a handful of active hands. Our intention is only to provide a nice domain to host our work. If it pleases, a person could very well wait on their most-anticipated novel and enjoy the service as a piecemeal, or, even, buy a subscription to try and binge it all in a month. That's up to you and we respect and welcome either approach.
Every week, we will provide new content (which can be seen on the Calendar on Masher Clubs' front-page), which will include already published novels and works-in-progress (as said, I'll be unveiling Spade on Masher Club, but Scott and I will also be bringing you guys a new fantasy novel called The Chosen Two as we write it).
As Masher Club evolves and grows, we hope to include other ways to further interact with our readers. Maybe a special group-forum for everyone to communicate with each-other, or maybe a special Discord? I would love to hear your thoughts and I hope you'll consider supporting us in our endeavors.
Masher Club officially launches on July 1st, 2019, payments will be made using the verified and secured MMBR.IO website.
