Since my debut novel Blind Salvation (a novel I've spent the last couple of Blogs reminiscing over) in 2015, I have had an unwritten demand - publish one novel every year without fail. Thus far, I haven't strayed far from the path. In 2016, I did Flux, then, there was Catherine, and in 2018, I was even able to do both Katalene the Hallow and The Canes Files in one calendar year. Although we are not even halfway through 2019 (which saw the release of The Canes Awaken), I have now set my sights on 2020 and the ambitious goals I have for the year.
Introducing "Exercise 'N Excess", or .EXE, a Mishmashers event that will be a culmination of the next year and a half of my work. Long story short, in October 2020, I intend to fire off everything I have at once.
Maybe I won't be able to meet the lofty expectations I have for myself. Regardless of that, if this incentive inspires me to complete even a couple books from my backlog, then I will consider it a success. That said, my current goal is to publish five novels in October 2020. Besides myself, Scott Moore has also expressed interest to publish a novel for the occasion, and we have a behind-the-scenes Mishmasher who has begun cooking up their debut novel as well. If all is as intended, October 2020 will witness seven novels added to Mishmashers catalog of works.
I don't want to release any official details yet, however, I do intend to provide regular updates marking my progress. And, the more of the project I complete, the more information I will reveal and more of the cover will be revealed to the public. I hope to have the first update released sometime next week.
It will be a long-road and I hope you'l accompany me on my latest (preposterous) endeavor. All the best,
