1.) Moving & Mashers Club
Although I would've normally treated October as the "all-out, blow-out" for Mashers Club. Most of the movies I watch and, by extension, most of the movies I review are horror or genre-related, but the month was mostly business as usual, so-to-speak. I shared my thoughts on Full Moon Features' latest film (Weedjies, which I didn't particularly enjoy) and Rob Zombie's sequel to House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects called Three from Hell (which I also didn't particularly enjoy), but I didn't do everything I might've wanted.
I've been preoccupied with a lot of different projects recently and a lack of interesting horror-fare to watch made it difficult. I am currently in the middle of moving to a new address (Instead of renting a trailer, I'll, instead, begin the process of buying a house).
I'll have a lot more space than I once did, which is ..., frankly, I don't know what to do with it yet. I lived in a three-bedroom trailer with my fiancee since March and I went around three months stepping into one of the bedrooms and we never did anything with it.
Scott Moore and Beccah Grace both used to do different Podcasts with me, but we were always awful about consistency. Maybe I'll find something I can do like that to supplement Mashers Club further.
2.) The Canes III
Updates for the latest Canes novel have been scarce the last couple of months. Scott has been working on his solo projects and I've been working on mine. The last I left off was in saying I intended to write the second (of six) episode of The Canes III in December this year. I didn't follow that. Instead, I finished the second episode yesterday. I'm thinking about going straight into episode three on Thursday and having it finished in a couple weeks. The plan remains to release it late-2020, however.
My focus in October was more on The Canes than The Chosen Two, but I did make some progression. In my last update, the novel was at 36,000 words, and it has now reached 41,000 words. I consider this as about the halfway mark for the first draft.
