It's difficult to actually talk about Sands of Time, because it's difficult not to become overzealous or oversell the experience, but no video-game has captured my imagination and enthusiasm in the same light. Similar to Tomb Raider and God of War, Sands of Time offers a platforming experience more consistent and more-is-more, you spend more-or-less the entire experience navigating ledges or solving puzzles with a minimalist simplistic narrative following you through it all.
The game-play is fun and vibrant, with a fun blend of challenge, all enhanced my a great score played in the background.
The only criticisms I have are (1) the camera-angles, where pillars and other objects in the foreground occasionally obscure your character, and (2) the melee combat, while fun, is one-dimensional.
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is one of my all-time favorite video-games and I highly recommend it.
